Anatomy Lecture Theatre Performance Talk

TRG3, Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh, 2015

In summary of a period of research with the art collections and anatomy departments at Edinburgh University, this presentation gave a overview of the process of developing ideas around the ways people move around precious objects; ancient artefacts and human specimens. In addition to spoken presenations, performance actions included a selection of anatomical posters being displayed by the anatomy collections curators, the shawn being played by Ruth Pollitt and 3 invitations to the audience; to paint thier nails with polish the colour of the meninges, and to smell an old motorbike helmet and a bar of carbolic soap.
